• Yes. Create a free account to get an API key and use it from any browser origin, including production websites, with up to 10,000 requests per month and 1 GB of bandwidth per month. Paid plans add server-side requests, advanced features, higher limits, priority routing, and support.

Why do I need an API key?

• Your API key authenticates requests, attributes usage to your account, and powers the analytics dashboard.

Can I use corsproxy.io directly without an account?

• No. Create a free account to get the API key required in every proxy URL. The key authenticates your account, enforces the Free-tier limits, and powers the usage dashboard.

Do I have to add every domain in the dashboard that I want to use with CorsProxy?

• No. Free browser requests may come from any origin, so dashboard domains are not a Free-tier allowlist. However, we recommend adding every domain you use so the dashboard can attribute its traffic and help you track usage more easily.

Can I use CorsProxy on all subdomains of my main domain?

• Yes. Add the main domain (e.g. example.com) and all subdomains (e.g. staging.example.com) are covered.

Which features require a Production plan?

• The following parameters require a Production plan and a valid API key: extract, input, output, and ttl.

How do I monitor my usage?

• Log into the CorsProxy Dashboard to see request counts, bandwidth, and the most accessed URLs.

What happens if I exceed my usage limits?

• If you exceed your usage limits, you will receive an email notification. Depending on your subscription plan.

Can I track usage for multiple projects under one account?

• Yes. You can add multiple subdomains for different projects under a single account. Each subdomain will have its own set of analytics.

Is it possible to reset my CorsProxy subdomain?

• Yes. Reset your subdomain from the Dashboard under “Settings,” then update your app to use the new subdomain.

How do I prevent unauthorized usage of my subdomain?

• Specify allowed referrers in your subdomain settings. Only requests from those referrers will be processed.

How do I handle CORS errors in production?

• Ensure your subdomain is configured with allowed referrers and proper API key usage.

Can I see the details of each request made through my API key?

• Yes. The Dashboard provides request logs including URL, headers, and response status.

How secure is my data with CorsProxy?

• We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, plus API key controls and referrer allowlists.

What measures are in place to ensure the reliability of CorsProxy?

• CorsProxy targets 99.99% uptime using redundancy, continuous monitoring, and automatic scaling.

How can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel my subscription plan?
